In this series of drawings, "The Ego and the Ig [sic]," I copy Instagram posts of important moments and people in resistance struggles. Highlighting the irony that when we have access to the most information is when we are often the least inclined to take advantage, passing on one revolutionary image for another.

On the one hand the dissemination of powerful images can move us to action; on the other, the constant flow of images holds us to complacency, giving us the action of "consuming" revolutionary content as a substitute for organizing toward revolution.
