Bio
Sam Sundius (they/she) is a multidisciplinary artist investigating the body and its relationship to memory. They received a B.A. from Hunter College in Drawing and English in 2014, and have studied at the Art Students League in New York and l'Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Beaux-Arts in Paris. Sundius' work has been shown with Field Projects (curated by Home Gallery), the Governors Island Art Fair, and at the Hudson Valley Museum of Contemporary Art and has been written about in the Gothamist. They participated in residencies on Governors Island in 2020 and 2021 and are a fellow of the NYFA Artist as Entrepreneur program in 2022. Sam is also the recipient of the NYFA City Artist Corps Grant and the Queens Art Fund New Work Grant.
